Kids Energy Conservation Video

1. I think the target audience for this clip would be children.
2.I think it is trying to tell us that CFL bulbs are much better than incandescent bulbs, and it's time for us to make a change in terms of energy usage and what bulbs should be used.
3. Yes, I find it quite effective as it manages to get the target audience, the kids to interact and do something meaningful, even telling the kids that they can be winners so that the kids will be compelled to make a difference.
4.It could be further improved by telling the audience how much better and beautiful world our world would become were they to change to CFL bulbs.

Energy Conservation Video Reflection Questions (1)

1.I think some limitations of renewable energy is that they need space to be placed and countries still trail behind in employing these renewable energy resources.
2. One solution that the video suggested was to place smaller wind turbines in residential areas and the larger ones farther away from people. Another solution would be to require lesser energy in their daily life.
3.It can be communicated effectively by telling them that one day energy will run out and when that time comes, all their frivolous necessities and forms of entertainment such as computers and phones will not be able to work anymore and that they have to realize the gravity of the situation as it becomes more and more serious.

Things I learnt in ADMT

I learnt about First-Angle Orthographic Projection, Sectional View, Exploded Views and Isometric Projection. I also learnt that sometimes sketching alone is sometimes not enough to let your audience understand your message. You would then need to employ these different methods of drawing to get your message across. Also, we can know the effectiveness of our sketches by showing it to others, to see if they understand what we are trying to show.
